I am a Seattle based freelance photographer. My left eye has been glued to a viewfinder ever since a high school art teacher handed me a Ricoh KR-5. Over the years I've learned that the power of awareness and compassion are unmatched in life. For me, photography has served as a reminder to practice both. I love traveling and telling visual stories that show connection, adventure and a sense of place. Working primarily with natural light allows me to be fully present and spend as much time with my subjects as possible. Seeing a story unfold in front of my lens is an amazing experience, I'm hooked. Let's tell a story together.
My clients include REI, REI Adventures, Trail Runner Magazine, Rock & Ice Magazine, 1889 Washington's Magazine, Filson, MadArt, The Stranger, Sweet Lo's Ice Cream, Chihuly Garden and Glass, Center for Wooden Boats, Pratt Fine Arts Center, Steinbrueck Native Gallery and the James & Janie Washington Foundation.
